The Flume Covered Bridge This picturesque covered bridge is one of the oldest in the state. It was built in the 1886 and has been restored several times. Such bridges were often called “kissing bridges” because of the darkness and privacy they provided. This bridge was built across the scenic Pemigewasset River.
How hard is the Flume trail NH?
Going down Flume trail would be hard because it is very steep. Although we did see several people going down the flume trail. Hats off to them. The views from the summit at Liberty by far is the best of all the views I’ve seen this year.

A must see attraction while in the White Mountains. This place was awesome with wonderful trails and scenic areas. Their is a 2-2.5 mile trail that leads all around the flume gorge. If you like hiking or walking you must go to the Flume Gorge and go to the White Mountains of NH.
