Data. Yeti, also called Umaro, is a boss in Final Fantasy VI fought in the Yeti’s Cave. If Mog is in the party after he is beaten, Yeti joins the party as Umaro. If not, he will remain in the cave, collapsed until the player returns with Mog to recruit him.

Do you need Mog to get Umaro?

To get Umaro you MUST HAVE MOG on your team. Eventually when you find him you’ll have to fight Umaro and after the battle he will join your party.
